Supply Chain Manager , Singapore

Job description :
The Job: * Execution of Global Logistics Plan in achieving the short and medium term objectives * Supporting Management in the development and implementation of globally quality customer service and meet growth, and allocating appropriate resources to successfully implement and execute global logistics services to achieve agreed upon service levels * Strategic management of external relationships with logistics vendors in sourcing, selection and development of joint relationship planning * Day-to-day management of Asia Operations and the Logistics Team in ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements, leading the team to meet growth plans and foster a culture of continuous improvement in quality, productivity and profitability, and establishing and monitoring performance objectives of the team

Qualifications :
Job Requirements * Possess a Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or its equivalent * Minimum 7 years’ industry experience within the logistics/ warehousing and operation functions * 3 years’ management and supervisory experience * Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of the processes and how to improve them * Significant knowledge of customs requirements and familiar with different modes of freight * Familiarity with processes and systems in the logistics and warehousing functions * Experience in SAP will be an added advantage * Able to handle systems to manage processes and to bear within the methods of system in an economically sensible manner * Proven record of implementing detailed process flows and driving continuous improvement
