Job description :
Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, components and equipment
• Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for the procurement activities as well as material and production control systems
• Review and approve purchases up to a specified dollar amount
• Ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels
• Ensure BOM integrity and validates kead-time and price are maintained correctly in SAP
• Drive inventory management initiatives weith suppliers
• Monitor the cost, schedule and performance aspects of major subcontracts
• Drive cost and lead time reduction to meet company objectives
• Manage supplier scorecard process (QBR)
• Ensure business controls are in place to comply with the SOX requirements
• Develop and maintain key performance metrics

Qualifications :
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• At least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing/sourcing, production planning and inventory management in the Manufacturing industry with experience in handling product/project transfer
• Experience in low volume high mix and DFT/pull manufacturing environment is a plus
• Proficient in SAP system
• Knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concepts
• Analytical and tactical with good interpersonal and communication skills
• A hands-on person with good knowledge in business control processes
• Team player, self driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
