Primary Function:
• Develop, plan and execute public relations, marketing, sales and promotional strategies within brand guidelines to support and achieve sales budgets. Maximise Brands’ visibility and connection with the desired target audience.
Responsibilities:
1) Marketing
• Develops and recommends marketing objectives, including basic and promotion sales volume and promotion profit forecasts to meet store sales targets and ranking requirements.
• Analyses marketing data to evaluate brand performance and gives recommendation.
• Review brands objectives and assimilate relevant New York marketing program to meet local needs through marketing and promotional calendar.
• Present exclusive store programs to retailers and negotiate for space and location. Visit stores to check on retailers’ satisfaction with cooperative activities.
• Develop good relations with retailers, fashion houses and partners for effective business negotiations.
• Plan the Marketing and promotional calendar and determine the different channels of newsletter, E-newsletter, SMS, webpage, etc to drive awareness
• Plan and execute retail events, promotional sites and conceptualization and set-up.
• Adhere to counter merchandising guideline, ordering and upkeep of collaterals.
2) Advertising & Promotions
• Work with advertising agency to strategize and develop media schedule and budget.
• Manage ADF advertising material and liaison with the advertising agency, retailer & New York and obtain the necessary approval of all marketing.
• Ensure maximum exposure and effectiveness of advertising and promotion campaigns.
• Negotiates with outside parties for joint promotions.
• Order and maintain a library of creative materials.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and advertising in magazines and newspaper and collate the bi-annual report for New York.
• Manage the P&L of all the advertising and promotional expenses
• Conduct workshops as part of the promotional activities
3) Public Relations
• Develop and execute public relations strategy and events for brands and supports marketing and promotional activities.
• Maintain and develop press contact and establish excellent relationships with key members of the press and collaborate closely with them maximize press coverage through exciting and innovative public relations and paid publicity.
• Create and adapt New York’s press materials and send out monthly press releases for new products.
• Prepare and compile PR releases, tracking and reports to New York.
• Manage relationships with trade, promotional partners and contractors.
• Handle all sponsorship programs and establish partnership with fashion.
• Attend to press inquiries and requests and provide information, releases and products in a timely manner.
• Track competitors’ activities with key press and propose counter-actions as necessary.
• Plan and execute press events and press conferences.
4) Customer Loyalty Programs
• Strategize, develop and execute customer loyalty programs for the brand.
• Maintain and analyse customers’ profile in POS & AS400 and other related database
• Plan, develop and execute quarterly newsletters, E-newsletters, SMS and webpage for the brand to increase brand awareness, to foster a stronger relationship with the customers and to communicate promotional activities, loyalty clubs events and club news.
• Supervise the printing of newsletter material.
• Negotiate with outside parties for joint promotions for loyalty club members.
5) Budget
• Allocate funds for marketing programs and consolidate figures to determine annual advertising and promotions budgets.
• Keep strict control over cost through monthly review of advertising and promotion expenses with Finance Department.
• Supervise and ensure that local purchase orders opened on A&P are reconciled to budget plans, coverage of gifts plan.

6) Forecast
• Work with Sales Manager to determine sell-in and roll-out quantities required for marketing programs and make adjustments to existing products impacted by new launches.
• Work closely with FIM Department to ensure timely delivery of products to meet marketing programs and product registration.
7) Pricing
• Propose to Brand Manager local pricing strategy of new products, harmonization of regional pricing and latest competitive pricing comparisons.
