Job description :
The role:
The role reports directly to the General Manager operationally, with responsibility for all aspects within the Finance department in addition to supporting the management team by providing insightful commercial and financial analysis. There is a functional reporting line to the Divisional Fiancial Controller / Director
Main Areas of Responsibility:
* Oversight of the production of monthly management accounts, financial reports and General Manager’s report.
* Responsibility for all commercial analysis work, including SKU analysis, capital appraisals, detailed customer and product profitability analysis, proactive management and forecasting of working capital and cash.
* Develop and ensure an accurate stock costing system is maintained.
* Provide financial support to the Thailand business management team.
* Ensure financial reports and returns are provided to Divisional management and third parties (e.g. tax authorities) in accordance prescribed timetables.
* Provide accurate financial forecasts for the Thailand business.
* Maintain accurate accounting records at all times in accordance with LINPAC Group policies.
* Safe guard the assets and ensure financial controls exist to prevent fraud.
* Liaise with the Divisional management team to ensure initiatives and policies are implemented within the Thailand business.
* Management of year end accounts and statutory audit.
* Manage the Thailand finance team, including accounts receivable, purchase ledger, payroll.
* Ad-hoc queries from Divisional & Group Office.
To carry out any other duties, relevant to the post which may arise from time to time ensuring a comprehensive and flexible service is provided to the business and department.

Qualifications :
Training and Education:
The following skills & experience will be sought:
* Qualified accountant.
* 7+ years experience.
* Be PC literate and comfortable using standard Microsoft software packages (MS Office), Lotus Notes and experience of using an Enterprise Resource Planning System (“ERP”).
* Experience in managing a team of people.
* Good commercial awareness.
* Possess good analytical skills.
* Possess good communication skills (both verbal and written), in both Thai and English.
