Job description :
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure all quality requirements are met by participating in the review of all design manufacturing, test procedures and inspection analysis and provide input to the manager on process or procedural system improvements.
Track root causes to quality related problems and coordinates corrective actions, monitors defect reduction programs and reviews effectiveness of systems and procedures
Interact with all functional groups including Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and all manufacturing personnel to ensure product quality requirements are being met and coordinate on corrective actions associated with quality related issues
Implement and improve Statistical Process Control and the analysis of the data to evaluate current processes and process changes
Communicate significant quality related issues to appropriate personnel and provides input on whether to accept the product and recommends process improvements
Review field returns for defects and corrective actions, introduction of new products, design and develop quality plans and communicate quality results, as required
Review all documentation related to product quality in the assigned area, such as test procedures and work instructions
Check blueprints and specifications for standard products, contracted products, and purchased items for quality inspections
Coordinate appropriate inspections and control plans for manufacturing operations
Establish control limits and sampling plans
Instruct manufacturing personnel in the use of inspection tools and implementation of control plans to meet quality requirements.
Customer liaison as well as to work with purchasing on suppliers problems
Lead various audits

Qualifications :
JOB REQUIREMENT
Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of related experience
Analytical: Collect and research data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; demonstrated success in applying Six Sigma tools
Problem Solving: Gather and analyze information skilfully; Works well in group problem solving situations
Project Management: Communicate changes and progress
Technical Skills: Share expertise with others
