Job Summary
To maximise the value of tourism by contributing to the development and implementation of a Southeast Asia Travel Trade channel partner strategy, coordinating online commercial sales, providing hub web marketing support and helping to deliver against regional key performance targets.
KEY RESULT AREAS
* Travel Trade Strategy
o With direction from Marketing Manager, implement the travel trade strategy for SEA by identifying key travel trade players and top business prospects and developing a communication and marketing programme relevant to this segment
o Develop robust travel trade opportunities in Singapore, identifying partnership marketing opportunities for consumer marketing and coordinating opportunities with partners
o Develop and manage Southeast Asia’s online travel trade training programme
o Create and manage a quarterly travel trade e-bulletin and tracking report
o Report any market intelligence from the travel trade industry to the team
o Ensure all travel trade activities are evaluated in line with VB’s established evaluation programme
* Trade Relations and Key Account Management
o Develop and maintain a KAM system for all Singapore based travel industry partners. Build relationships to provide a framework for marketing to approach for joint initiatives as well as usual co-operation for familiarisation trips, etc.
o Manage Southeast Asia’s central depository travel trade database on Achiever and ensure that all interaction details are up to date
o Be the main contact for both the Singaporean and travel trade, providing them with regular updates and fulfilling their requests for information effectively
o Liaise with regional colleagues on their KAM with contacts for the Southeast Asia market
o Organise educational visits and promote trade buyer attendance at key events
* Marketing Support & Evaluation
o Assist the Marketing team with various on and offline marketing projects
o Manage the evaluation of all trade and marketing activities for Southeast Asia and ensure that all evaluations are conducted in high quality and robust manner according to evaluation planner
* Finance & Best Practice
o Manage all delegated budgets using correct financial procedures
o Work with SEA colleagues to create an achievement culture where best practice, teamwork and regional synergies are fostered
o Deliver hub support and be point of contact for rep offices for all travel trade and web content related matters

Qualifications :
COMPETENCIES
* 3-5 years of work experience in the travel trade industry
* Excellent communications skills with an ability to communicate on a regular basis with a wide range of stakeholders, both locally and internationally.
* Good understanding of the travel industry sector with strong relationships with partners already in place.
* Ability to generate reports and presentation.
* Previous experience of using a content management system and good knowledge of database management system
* Previous experience of website editing and/or production
* Project management skills, with the ability to manage several tasks at once
* Ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work under pressure and excellent organizational skills
