Job description :
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the external relationships which form the reporting network (external bookkeeping and head office Business Control)
- Monitor risk management framework, guidelines and fund characteristics for investment strategies
- Operate as the Strategy Subject Matter Expert as it pertains to:
- Contributing to ICBC Opinions regarding CIP Proposals (operational DD reviews)
- Conducting routine and special assessments of Strategies
- Ensure that funds operate according to approved Fund Characteristics and other risk guidelines on an ongoing basis.
- Evaluate new mandates and ensure that the activities are conducted as per procedure
- Run and participate in projects to achieve Company milestones set by the management.
- Analyze and interpret information and provide advice to management as requested.
- Coordinate with the businesses, Information Technology and Operations to ensure that the information flows of the firm are reliable and meet business requirements.

Qualifications :
The successful applicant will have the following:
• BA/BS required; MBA and/or a CFA is a plus
• 5-7 years experience in a related capacity
• Experience in financial accounting and/or audit.
• Good understanding of Risk Management, Control, and Audit Practices.
• Strong knowledge of investment products
• Team player who is a self starter, pro-active and motivated to create positive change
• Process management experience
• Strong communication and PC skills
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
