Regional LAN Services Manager, Asia Pacific, Hong Kong

Job description :
Responsibilities:- * Report to the Global Director of LAN Services in HQ. * Manage engineering and transport functions related to LAN for the Asia Pacific Region. * Aid the Director with architecture and design with regards to the LAN Services. * Focus on strategy and standards, maintaining the LAN performance, and continuous staff improvements of the service. * Responsible for end to end design of LAN such as wireless standards, video conferencing hardware, and data transports including file transfer and others to the network environment. * Manage Global Data Network projects using Project Management Processes. * Continually analyze the environments capabilities against known and forecasted demands. * Identify potential gaps or shortfalls before they impact service delivery and implement appropriate work-around solutions. * Work closely with application developers to ensure the trends and direction for business functions in relations with the LAN infrastructure. Improve awareness of the impacts of new functions on the existing infrastructure environment. * Works with Global IT security to ensure risk management policies and security standards are in place as it relates to the Global LAN Services function.

Qualifications :
Requirements:- * Bachelor Degree in related area or the equivalent. * At least 10 years experience in a Network data network Engineering, practices, design/planning/implementing LANs in retail environment preferred. * Hands on experiences in wireless protocols, architecture and technology. * Excellent knowledge in ITIL, preferably with ITIL Certifications would be a plus. * Certified in CISCO LAN technology and CISCO Certified Network Professional with PMP certified. * Deep knowledge of LAN engineering and system integration skills and experiences. * Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and be able to communicate the data to others within the organization. * Strong in leadership skills and team building skills. * Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
