Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance and hands-on trouble-shooting of Oracle databases and application servers
*
Develop, coach and mentor operation team members
*
Work with support and development teams to review SQL and PL/SQL code and data model designs for performance and maintainability
*
Coach developers of Oracle DBMS features and best practice
*
Participate in database planning and implementation and performance tuning
*
Best document practice for efficient database resource usage is essential
*
Provide a 24x7 databases support, backup service and recovery consultation
*
Develop database storage and capacity forecasts
*
Prepare weekly team report and database status report to management
