Job description :
Responsibilities:
*
Responsible for design and build an integrated Microsoft-centric collaboration and messaging platform, to provide expert advice, industry experience and technical knowledge in design and implementation of the integrated platform during project implementation
*
Collect and translate business requirements into architectural and technical design, evaluate and make recommendations on integration of new platform with existing infrastructure components.
*
Liaise with technical teams of system integrator and ongoing support parties to ensure a smooth handover of the integrated platform from project team to support parties
*
Review technical documentations and deliverables from system integrator and service providers to ensure they are of good quality

Qualifications :
Requirement:
*
Higher Diploma or Degree holder IT / CS / MIS or related discipline, with minimum 8 years' work experience in IT industry
*
Solid working experience in designing and implementing IT Infrastructure solutions (i.e. technology solutions for email, email archiving, unified communications, collaboration, document management, wide area network, desktop platform)
*
Hands on experience in some of the following required
- Microsoft Windows Server 2000 – 2008 and Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange 2007
- Microsoft Sharepoint 2007
- Microsoft Office Communicator Server 2007
- Microsoft Office 2007
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Operations Manager
- Messaging Technologies
- Quest Migration Tools
- Symantec Enterprise Vault
- SAN Storage
- Clustering and Load-balancing
- Server virtualization
- Lotus Notes and Novell Groupwise are desirable
*
Significant experience of deploying corporate-level Microsoft-technology based solutions in an extremely high visibility and mission critical environment
*
Prior working experience in major cross-functional and corporate level highly desirable.
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with multiple internal groups, vendors and service providers
*
Prior exposure in multi-cultural international work settings and willing to travel outside Hong Kong
