Director - Strategy & Planning , Hong Kong

Job Description: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director - Strategy & Planning will formulate strategies for business growth in terms of revenue, profit and market share, and will work with other functional heads for resources planning / alignment for offering business opportunities (cases).

Qualifications :
Responsibilities: * Play a key role in formulating and implementing the company’s strategic business plans by indentifying business opportunities for the company's key markets in the USA, Europe and Asia; * Analyze industry trends, business performance, existing and new regulatory requirements and their impact on business growth; * Deploy analytical methodologies to provide timely and regular feedback to management in terms of market intelligence for technology, pricing, customer expectation and new processes employed; * Create and leverage value through research analysis to provide insights for making timely business decisions pertaining to the future of the company; * Make recommendations on alternative courses of actions to maximize business opportunities and to minimize risk exposure; * Align business and operational functions for correct pricing, cost structure, credit terms, capacity / resources planning for offering business opportunities (cases); * Synthesize data and variances to identify problems through operational and financial analysis in order to improve operational and financial performance.

Experience :
Requirements: * A degree in Business Management, Marketing, Strategy & Planning preferably with a Master Degree or MBA; * Minimum 10 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in senior managerial roles gained from sizeable corporations, ideally with experience gained from management consulting companies; * Excellent knowledge in strategic planning concepts and frameworks, business issues, research methodology and financial analysis; * Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative research into business strategies; * Strong command of English and Mandarin is a prerequisite; * Strong presentation and communications skills
