Job description :
Primary objectives:
-You will be a member of the tunnels delivery team, working on various project sizes.
Key responsibilities:
- You will manage and deliver Underground Station projects
- You will coordinate engineering disciplines including, structural, environmental, mechanical and electrical engineers.
- Lead projects from start to finish.
- Work on new build, modification, refurbishment and maintenance projects.
- Produce design ideas, reports, specifications and drawings, for all above project types
- Conduct/contribute to risk assessment and specification documents.
- Attend site meetings
- Manage the junior members of the team.

Qualifications :
Skills and experience required:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience managing engineering teams
- Extensive Underground Station design experience
- Knowledge of underground walling systems, D’ Walls, secant piles, etc.
- Experience of cavern design and rock mechanics
- Experience of working on multiple projects
- Ideally detailed experience in structural design as well as have understanding of basic rock or soil mechanics
- Highly desirable but not essential are skills in structural engineering, numerical modelling, metro engineering
