Job description :
Responsibilities:
* Work with General Manager to lead standardization and scaling of purchasing, sourcing warehouse, logistics, import/export and SQE functions;
* Drive innovation, cost beneficial business process improvements, and material related cost reductions;
* Manage global supplier sourcing, supplier quality, purchase orders, delivery schedules, change management, inventory control, shipping and logistics processes;
* Drive continuous improvement by defining performance measures, implementing controls, taking corrective actions, and assessing effects; Manage and ensure compliance with import and export control requirements;
* Ensure real-time understanding of demand changes through regular communications with production and planning managers, and adjust purchase orders, supplier schedules, and pricing plans as appropriate;
* Support the General Manager to recommend, then lead supplier selection and qualification, maintain relationships, and monitor performance including quality, pricing, capacity, commodity allocation issues, and commodity specific supplier lead-time requirements towards reducing market risks;
* Manage timely movement and maintenance of non-conforming materials;
* Support Finance in development and maintenance of standard costs and cost variances, invoice approval and reconciliation;
* Partner closely with new product development teams to coordinate and drive time critical product introductions and changes.

Qualifications :
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree a plus
* 8+ years of hands-on materials management, logistics, supplier quality, and purchasing experience in Asia region (international experience a plus);
* Demonstrated high Ethics and Integrity standards
* Hands-on ERP system proficiency required, with ERP implementation experience a plus;
* Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English and Mandarin;
* Production Plan data analysis and drop in demand risk modeling experience;
* China and Taiwan-based sourcing, logistics, purchasing and supplier quality team development experience with a recognized industry leading company strongly desired;
* Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, APICS, CIRM, CPM, and formal negotiation training a plus;
* Lithium-ion and PC battery industry experience a plus;
* Comfortable in fast-paced, team-oriented culture and adept at taking initiative to achieving aggressive individual, department, and company goals.
