Security and Logistics Manager , Hong Kong

Job description :
Job Duty: * Be responsible for the overall management and operation of security and logistics at AWE including day-to-day operation, crowd and visitor flows management, transportation interfaces and statutory compliance; * To manage AWE Security and Logistics Service Partner to ensure high standard of service performance. This will include implementing Key Performance Indicators and introducing measurement metrics; * To ensure that the planning and execution of all traffic and security operations at AWE will support and facilitate the core business of exhibitions, concerts, special events, high level meetings and VIP visits; * To keep abreast with the update of the relevant legislation and ensure compliance of it; * To uphold the accreditation standards relating to the security and logistics operations; * To develop the security and logistics strategies and operations policies and manuals; * To perform security risk assessments and serve as the internal auditor for security processes of other AWEM departments; * To provide on-going risk analysis relating to local crime and other threats against AWEM; * To liaise with all local law enforcement/regulatory agencies, fire/emergency agencies, corporate security department/associations; * To initiate, facilitate and promote activities to foster security awareness within the organization, AWEM clients and all external bodies.

Qualifications :
Job Requirements: Education: * Holder of a degree granted by a recognized university or equivalent educational institution. * Possession of one of the professional qualifications: MRICS, HKIS, Certified Protection Professional (ASIS), Qualified Security Trainer (SITO UK), MAPSA, or MIPSA Experience: * 7-year working experience in security operation for shopping malls, exhibition and public entertainment venues. 5 years of which at managerial level. Pervious experience in MICE Industry will definitely be an advantage. * Candidate with less experience will be considered as Asst. Security and Logistics Manager. * Prior law enforcement experience is an advantage. Skills: * Good command of both English and Chinese * Proficiency in Mandarin preferable Licensures, Certifications: * Security Personnel Permit * Safety Card * First Aid Certificate
