Project Manager, Research & Development , Hong Kong

Job description :
Reporting to the Director, Research and Development, the appointee will be required to: * Vet the applications for funding of R&D projects; * Monitor on-going R&D projects, including technical and financial aspects and other project administrative tasks, prepare project updates and reports; * Work closely with R&D researchers and personnel; coordinate with local and overseas universities, research institutions and business partners, handle enquires in a professional manner; * Play a key role in R&D publicity events or programmes organised by HKRITA; * Perform R&D functions including business development, IP and information management, etc; * Prioritise tasks based on their functions and importance; and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Requirement: * Degree or above in any applied science disciplines, preferably in Textiles and Clothing Technology or Chemistry; * 5+ years relevant work experience, experience in R&D, textile or fashion related industry an advantage; * Highly-organized, capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments; * Excellent interpersonal skill with fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, good command of Mandarin an asset.
