Senior Executive - Banking Operations , Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job description :
Role purpose: * Administer the BAFIA, BNM’s Guidelines and directives governing the banking industry to ensure the prudential framework is applied consistently with the principal objective of the Bank to promote financial stability through a robust and sound financial system. Principal accountabilities: * Conduct comprehensive assessment on applications from banking institutions to ascertain whether applications comply with existing policies, guidelines, regulations and BAFIA provisions and to recommend appropriate response/solutions. * Enhance and streamline the process flow for applications to ensure operational efficiency. * Work closely with manager to liaise with industry players in identifying emerging issues that arising from the existing policies, guidelines, regulations and BAFIA provisions in order to recommend enhancement that strengthen the regulatory framework. * Network with internal and external stakeholders to continuously understand and keep abreast of developments in central banking business and industry trends.

Qualifications :
Requirements: * Candidate must possess at least a Masters Degree / Bachelor Degree (at least a 2nd Class Upper or equivalent) or professional qualifications in accounting, economics banking or finance background. * Experience in auditing and finance is an added advantage * Credits in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Modern Mathematics at SPM/SPMV Level. * Ability to write well with an excellent command of English will be an added advantage. * Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English * Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
