UNIX Engineer

Job description :
Main Responsibilities and Objectives: • Provide L1 & L2 Support on Systems administration of Unix (Solaris, HPUX, Linux, AIX etc) • Administer Servers, Mainframe and Network Management Applications • Miscellaneous functions in the Data Center as assigned • Own problem/assignment through to resolution/completion and ensure closure
 
Qualifications :
Qualifications – Professional Skills & Competences: The candidate must possess: • Diploma or Degree (preferably in Computer Science) • At least 4 years relevant work experience in a Data Center environment • Good Unix Administration experience • Experience in managing servers and mainframe systems • Receptive to flexible hours of work
 
Experience :
* Passionate to get things done and highly motivated * Good communication and writing skills * Open-minded and a fast learner * A team player who is also able to work independently on problems & issues
