Job description :
Job summary:
1. Responsible for development on Fault Management System based on IBM Tivoli Netcool.
2. Applications maintenance; installation; configuration, upgrades, patches etc.
3. Develop interfacing or interworking with external applications
4. Become a focal contact point for all engineer to refer for any issues about the supported applications
5. Data migration between various data platform and various applications
6. Develop and maintain automation scripts that interact with the applications
Major duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for software installation, upgrade, patches, interfaces, automation and others task related to the supported applications.
2. Trouble shooting of any errors regarding the applications.
3. Develop and maintain automated script
4. User management; user privilege, grouping, login & password.
5. Develop process on software usage
6. Liaise with software vendor regarding software related issues; bugs, fixes, versions, licensing etc.
7. Ensure cross-platform data consistencies via automated scripts, and perform regular error-logs checks, and provide data-fixes accordingly.
Secondary responsibilities:
1. Responsible for development of Trouble Ticketing System.
2. Trouble shooting the performance issues on the application backend.
3. Process and system documentations

Qualifications :
Requirements:
1. Good understanding of SNMP, and network alarm management.
2. Prior experience in SNMP system integration is a plus.
3. Experience with RDBMS, especially Oracle and MySQL. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
4. Scripting preferably in Perl and Unix.
5. Experience in UNIX operating System, especially Sun Solaris
