Responsibilities:
As the overall head of the network engineering function, the selected candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of engineering functions – from planning to roll-out and operations and maintenance – of a rapidly expanding CDMA network including Core infrastructure, RAN, BSS, Backhaul and Backbone Transmission, IN and VAS. He/she will be responsible for selection, development and management of vendors for products, technologies and services; CAPEX and OPEX planning and management for all network requirements; functional and administrative management of the department; reporting to the management; and leadership and talent development for the network team.

Qualifications :
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering from a reputed university.
• About 20 years of experience in the telecom industry with at least 3-5 years in a similar capacity
• Strong exposure to CDMA 2000 platform
• Prior experience in rolling out country-wide or region-wide networks
• Exposure to planning, dimensioning and roll out of infrastructure for Core, RAN, BSS, Backhaul and Backbone Transmission, IN and VAS.
• Excellent managerial and leadership skills
• Team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in multi-ethnic teams; and travel extensively
