Job description :
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the e-Business web application development to meet the rapid growth of business needs
Responsible for the user requirement study, design, program coding, integration, system testing and coordinate users acceptance testing
Responsible for the web application technical and system documentation
Ensure seamless integration with the companys backend core application system
Responsible for supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the e-Business web application
Conduct user training
Liaise with vendor for necessary support and maintenance
Assists in performance monitoring, database optimization and capacity planning

Qualifications :
Requirements:
Candidate must possess minimum a Diploma, or degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum 2 years working experience with Java programming and database design
Knowledge of DB2 and SQL database
Familiar with IBM WebSphere and UNIX environment would be an advantage
Other knowledge and technical skills : XML, ASP, JSP, HTML, DHTML, VB, Web Services, Window Server
Familiar with system development life cycle
Knowledge of General Insurance is an advantage
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Independent and good interpersonal skills
Team player, able to work under pressure & meet deadlines
