Job description :
• The successful candidate will be able to partner with business leaders and provide cross-functional legal support based out of headquarters and will provide support in the Asia regions.
• The Legal Counsel will provide broad based legal support services to commercial operations and sales/marketing staff. He/she will manage relationships with outside legal counsel and work closely with Corporate Compliance team. He/she will provide legal support projects include but are not limited to helping develop relevant product promotion and compliance policies; supporting Corporate Relations department on communications to a variety of external audiences on various product-related issues; working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders from other departments.
• The Legal Counsel will work directly with clients, providing counsel on various legal and regulatory issues. Experience dealing with healthcare/fraud amp; abuse issues and or FDA regulatory issues is especially pertinent, experience with privacy laws, clinical and consultant contracts, and or product liability lawsuits is also useful. The Legal Counsel will also advise on business and regulatory issues with important legal implications.
