Job description :
Reporting directly to the Regional President APAC and functionally to the group Legal Head based in the Europe, you are responsible for guarantying the protection of the group’s legal interests and supporting its external growth operations in APAC.

Acquisition projects: as resource person for the APAC management team and as part of the group legal department, you manage, coordinate and expedite the legal and contractual aspects of acquisition projects.

Legal activities: you are responsible for contract review and negotiation, litigation management, trademark protection, corporate legal issues, etc.
*
Legal strategy support: you take a proactive role in conceiving and executing pragmatic and practical legal strategies in consultation with the Group Legal Head and APAC President, and other internal departments, BUs and subsidiaries in APAC.

Qualifications :
Your profile:
• In your past roles you have developed a solid legal expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating general contracts and conducting corporate compliance in APAC region. You have experienced project work for international acquisitions across APAC in a B-to-B environment and you are aware of intellectual property issues. Either as a part of legal practice or in an in-house legal role, your responsibilities were such that you also know what it means and requires to get multiple parties to agree on complex legal issues.
• You have the ability to develop effective plan to complete the transactions swiftly and maturity to develop trust with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate transactions smoothly. Thanks to your high comprehension of APAC industrial and business environment, you are able to spot contractual issues and suggest remedial measures once an acquisition target is identified. Given that significant part of your job will involve working with organizations in China you have ability to work in Mandarin fluently. You have international exposure and multicultural mindset.
