Production Manager , Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job description :
Responsibilities: * Responsible for all plant activities, including production output, production volume targets etc * Develop, implement and supervise production plans and strategies, and manage such activities while ensuring health, safety, environment, quality and cost standards are met * Manage production operation schedule and ensure effective utilization of equipment and personnel * Manage a production team in all daily production activities and ensure all standard operating procedures are followed * Review, coordinate and implement improvement programs including operating procedures to optimize operational efficiency, improve product quality, product safety and product consistency * Prepare annual production budget, review production costs and ensure adequate resources are available when required

Qualifications :
Requirements : * Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Manufacturing, Food Technology Science/Engineering, Industrial Operations Engineering or relevant discipline * Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, (Mandarin Preferred but not required) * Preferred experience in food & beverages industry * Preferred Lean Manufacturing/Toyota Production System know how and application * Well versed in ISO 9001, HACCP & ISO 22000 standards requirements * Minimum 3 years experience in managerial role in the related field * Proven skills to manage budgets and seek out cost improvements * Strong management and leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
