Job description :
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, The Technical Manager is to act as a technical advisor and support, assisting the General Manager Asia Pacific and the R&D function in New Product Development, field trials and training across all sectors of the business.
The responsibilities include:

Liaising with the sales team on all technical aspects and requirements on current products and new product developments
*
Conducting analytical research into the requirements and performance characteristics of New Product Developments for the NPD team
*
Carrying out “in-house”, local testing, and competitor testing
*
Assisting R&D in projects and the development of new and existing products
*
Analysing customer acceptance of proposed new products via worldwide field trials and test market trials
*
Assisting the marketing department in producing technical literature and correct directions for use
*
Assisting to support paint companies and/or OEM from all sectors with training as requested
*
Providing technical support to the sales functions and in field
*
Provide internal training across all sectors as required
