Job description :
Reporting to the Creative Director Position Overview Work with creative and production team to develop innovative marketing materials, which include but are not limited to catalog, brochures, signage, website, and collateral within current brand guidelines. Job Responsibilities: * Maintain the creative vision of the Creative VP within individual project contributions * Collaborate with Creative Director on design explorations * Collaborate with Art Directors on catalog, culinary brochure, website, signage and collateral * Work with creative comps and design layouts to produce finished digital output * Produce pencil or digital layouts on all personal design projects * Create design mock-ups and presentation comps for seasonal programs * Adhere to production schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget, high quality deliverables * Maintain knowledge of current design and consumer trends, color practices and materials relevant to the design discipline * Extend brand and support Sur La Table e-commerce team * Support of in-store signage group * Populate catalog pages w/Hi-res images * Maintain catalog file structure * Maintain and populate Hi-Res Image database * Alter Hi-res images in Photoshop to; strip in backgrounds, add weight, extend surfaces, remove products and generally clean-up the image when necessary

Qualifications :
Job Requirements: * BA or BFA in Graphic Design or 4+ years of agency or in-house Creative Department experience equivalent professional work experience * 3-5 years experience producing design and digital files for multi-page, color, high-end, quality catalogs plus experience with brochures, signage and collateral materials * Website experience a plus using Adobe GoLive and Photoshop * Capable of handling multiple projects of various size and complexity in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment * Experienced in Photo Art Direction * Knowledge of Print Production processes * Color proofing and press check experience required * Proficient in Macintosh programs, specifically Adobe In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat * Knowledgeable with Freehand, QuarkXpress, and Microsoft Office applications * Detail oriented with excellent design talent
