Job description :
An IT Specialist - Web Engineer is needed for a growing entrepreneurial company with a strong, established business in audio and web conferencing and related services. We are a company that focuses on developing new ideas. We then convert those ideas into realistic business concepts while maintaining and further developing our core business by listening to our clients’ needs and delivering solutions for those needs.
The IT Specialist- Web Engineer is expected to primarily:
• Help troubleshoot web presentation issues; able to troubleshoot popup blockers, software installation issues, and firewall issues.
• Perform digital audio/video editing tasks, for example, deleting portions of audio recordings, or synchronizing audio and web recordings into a single web link and forwarding these events to clients.
• Convert audio (or video) files into various formats for transcription purposes.
• Manage basic programming tasks.
• Handle general client tech requests for assistance.
• Help handle general IT office issues, e.g. troubleshooting email connectivity and telephone lines to the U.S.
• Follow through on requests made by the technical team on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications :
Qualifications:
• Enthusiastic, smart, sales oriented.
• Excellent voice and written communication skills and mastery of English, both spoken and written, are essential.
• Technically oriented: Ability to achieve masterful proficiency in the features and technical aspects of web presentation software.
• Comfortable working with computers and using the internet.
• At least some experience troubleshooting PC or networking problems. Able to function as a “Level 2 tech support” person; must go beyond following a “level 1” troubleshooting script of steps, to understand underlying concepts enough to develop their own troubleshooting approach to solving a problem.
• Knowledge of Perl, SQL, C#, Visual Basic, Java, HTML, C++, Wise Installer, is required.
• Has a basic understanding of Windows and Internet security measures that affect desktop users. An ideal candidate will know or can learn how to troubleshoot basic networking and firewall issues with ping, traceroute/tracert, netstat and telnet.
• Must be willing to work in Manila area with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30PM to 6:00AM (Manila time) with most weekends and U.S. Holidays off.
• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College degree in Computer Programming/Computer Science/or its equivalent.
