Job description: The IT Manager manages the information technology team in accordance with organizational policies and goals. S/he will ensure proper functioning of the company's information processing system and makes upgrades as necessary. The manager helps business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency, keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs, and follows appropriate programming procedures while ensure the highest level of security. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement technology strategies for the organization as a whole and for individual business units. Requires a level of business analytics. • Oversee the IT infrastructure of 3 offices and responsible for building and managing an IT team. • Lead infrastructure technology efforts and oversee Information Systems Security protocols and compliance. • Responsible for development and maintenance of new and existing business Web applications, proposing improvements to existing applications. • Oversee day-to-day operations, looking for better, smarter, faster, cheaper ways of doing business. Requires project planning and anticipating needs. • Trouble-shoot and repair computer hardware and software, including network servers, network operating systems, PC's and PC applications, LAN cabling, and virus protection. • Maintain knowledge and stay current on technological advances including computer software and hardware with a focus on Linux and Microsoft servers and open source technologies. • Microsoft and Linux server based network security, network rights, enforcement of naming standards, maintenance of login scripts and network software upgrades
