Job description: * Prepare requisition packages for the purchase of long lead equipment and packaged items associated with a minimum facilities platform. * Assist in the procurement function by preparing technical evaluations of bids and subsequently monitoring suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance for the supplied items. * Assist in the preparation of engineering scopes of work and supervise engineering contractor during the design phase. Ultimately will attend FAT's as necessary and appropriate.

Qualifications :
Job Requirement: • Degree in Mechanical Engineering • A minimum of 10 years experience with a contractor involved in the engineering and construction of onshore and offshore upstream oil and gas projects. The following experience will be essential: • Detailed experience in the procurement of small packaged equipment (including pumps, pressure vessels, pedestal cranes, etc) and the technical evaluation of vendors bids for equipment and sub-contractor bids for the provision of services. • Technical support of purchasing activities after purchase order issuance, including vendor data review, attending FAT as necessary. • Broad experience of mechanical equipment, installation, operation, testing and commissioning • Preparation and implementing testing and commissioning procedures and involvement with testing and commissioning • Working knowledge of international codes and standards and the application to the operation of oil and gas facilities
