Job description:
* Develops and maintains very close relationships with Sales and Marketing Teams to provide expert advises on regulatory, scientific communication, promotional materials, medical training and offers creative medical input and value-added.
* Offers to the Sales Department his/her expertise concerning product line and competitors and convert it into competitive advantage.
* Analyzes and interprets current medical literature to compose comprehensive, balanced, medically accurate documents that can be used to respond to requests from external and internal customers concerning the use of products.
* Provides timely surveillance of medical literature to assure that accurate and reliable data are contained and maintained in the response database and Department files.
* Develops strong productive relationships with cross-functional team members (Medical Sales, Trade Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs) to ensure development of innovative information, products/communications that are supportive of strategies.
* Facilitates reporting of adverse effects and product complaints
* Acts as an influential, credible, and respected spokesperson of the Marketing and Sales Departments and for the relevant therapeutic/nutritional areas.
* Maintains a high standard of current product knowledge.
* Ensures execution of strategic medical communication plans and implements programs/vehicles to support new campaigns, and target key customers.
* Provides market surveillance by using inquiry data to identify and communicate trends which signal competitive threats and opportunities, proactively proposes solutions to Marketing, Sales, etc.
