Job description :
Reporting to: Regional Director (Expatriate, based in Thailand)
Primary Functions
*
Product Fulfilment – develop the regional product fulfilment processes and procedures in line with the global PF-project with the aim of improving service levels (having the right product, in the right time, every time).
*
Logistics – negotiate contracts with primary freight carriers and local courier companies in the markets through coordination with Global Logistics Director.
*
Supply Planning – cut lead-times and increase flexibility in end-to-end supply chain.
*
Inventory – improve and control inventory levels with the aim of reducing working capital as well as obsolescence.
*
Distribution – support markets in developing the local distribution strategy.
*
Ordering & Planning – improve and monitor process with the aim to the improve inventory management and secure ordering in line with product forecasts.
*
Capacity Planning – secure capacity in Central Warehouses as well as warehouses and bay-lines in Immediate Service Centres to cope with volumes expected as per the 5 year plan.
*
Infrastructure – review and secure that infrastructure in markets is in line with Global Standards.
*
Efficiency – monitor, improve, and optimise cost of deliveries, stock accuracy, and head-count (warehouse staff & customer service staff).
*
Product Registration – support market and Global Regulatory with product registration.
*
IBM – being part in contributing to Regional Integrated Business Management Process in the function of RSCD.
*
Team - lead, train and develop country management teams to establish World Class Supply chain management across the region.
*
Special Projects – support Global Supply with selected projects as well as support with new market entries.

Qualifications :
*
University Degree
*
8-10 years professional experience with a major part within supply chain, preferably in Asia
*
Experience from Cosmetic or other FMCG industry a strong plus
*
Initiative – the candidate should be self motivated and able to motivate others. Able to make decisions and possessing the tenacity get things done.
*
Leadership – the candidate needs to be able to create a clear vision and lead initiatives through the organisation gaining input and/or buy-in from the market OM’s, MD’s and regional management.
*
Project Management – the candidate must have the ability to plan and implement specific long term strategies and short term actions, defining and meeting time lines and deliverables.
*
Team player – the candidate must have strong communication skills and work well with other departments and functions who often have differing agendas.
