Job description :
Responsibilities: The company is an importer of cosmetics and fragrance. Pricing: * Establish prices for catalogue merchandise and standard prices together with catalogue planners during the dummy development process. * Develop and improve the price management process within the region. * Ensure pricing strategy is continuously developed to optimize the sales and margin potential and continuously evaluate price elasticity for individual SKU and market. * Define and manage pricing levels (price groups) & merchandising policy for each market. * Based on competitor pricing input and product story for the company’s products, establish standard price as well as merchandising price (SMP/LP) for all new products for each market in local currency. * Communicate pricing and cost increases to each market on regular basis. * Ensure margin is maintained by tracking cost increases and currency changes. * Track and evaluate price increase in individual market to ensure gross margin is protected. * Follow up results (sales volume and gross profit) of the price initiatives. * Support with pricing (value) and benchmark of sales action items. * Support on other ad hoc projects. Positioning: * Define and manage company’s products positioning in region/markets in line with corporate guidelines and market applicability. * Ensure products to be positioned correctly within the category segment and cross category. Competition * Establish pricing benchmark with relevant competitor products (direct selling and other distribution channels) in all markets to secure that company’s products are relevantly priced. * Follow up competitors pricing strategy (merchandise and increases) and initiate actions whenever needed.
