International French Non-Governmental Organization implementing humanitarian activities in Thailand, is recruiting for its programs
Responsabilities:-
Under the supervision of the Logistic and Administrative Coordinator and the Head of Mission, the Translator Secretary will:
* Translate by writing from Thai to English and from English to Thai, all documents upon request (Job description, official letters, Internal Regulation, etc…) respecting strictly the meaning and the format of the original documents provided.
* Translate orally and immediately in or out of the office from Thai to English and from English to Thai, conversation between the Solidarit้s staff and the interlocutors.
* Write letters and official documents in English and Thai
* Participate to official meetings in view to report the information
* Represent Solidarit้s in meetings and in front of the Thai authorities
* Supply English courses to the Solidarit้s staff
* Take and write minute meetings
* Manage the overall secretary activities (mailing management and administrative tasks) in the office in compliance with the Solidarit้s’ rules
* Welcome the visitors and introduce them to the Solidarit้s staff to be met
* Take delivery of and dispatch the mails, e-mails and all documents and messages received, on a daily basis
* Work to obtain authorisations and validations for visas, camp pass, permits and other official documents
* May participate to the recruitment, training, management and appraisal of the Administrative staff
* Report immediately to his/her direct superior any problem encountered in the every day work organisation or staff relationship
* Report on a weekly basis about his/her activities to his/her direct superior
* Participate to the creation and the implementation of administrative procedures
* Be responsible of the stationeries cupboard management
* The list is not by any means exhaustive and the candidate may be asked by the programme leaders to get involved in new activities if required
