Operations Manager, Bangkok, Thailand

Job description :
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall day to day operational management of Tours operating in Thailand, Burma, Laos,10,000 travelers annually, to achieve overall excellence on these trips. This position reports directly to the Regional General Manager based in Bangkok. Responsibilities include: * Operations coordination & delivery of all itineraries to achieve Excellence goals * Management of 1 direct report and 50+ Trip Leaders and ground operators in Laos and Burma * Recruitment, selection, and management of Thai Trip Leaders and local guides in Laos & Burma * Negotiations of secondary vendor agreements including shops & optional tours * Delivering excellence for our passengers

Qualifications :
Qualifications :- * At least 5+ years of operating & managing inbound travel with experience hiring and working with trip leaders (Preferably the North American market) * Proven ability to motivate and manage people * Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize * Passion for the traveler and able to teach and educate * Results oriented * Demonstrated success in making tough decisions * Ability to travel * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Proficient in English (written and verbal) * Legal eligibility to be employed in Thailand
