Job description :
US multinational in the IT industry with presence in over 100 countries. They are seeking for delicated, dynamic and highly motivated personnel to join them as the Regional Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing the financial functions for the Singapore and the Asia Pacific Region
* Oversees the budgeting, financial planning and analysis, accounting, reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, tax and treasury functions
* Responsible for regional financial management of sales, corporate support and logistics office in Asia Pacific region
* Assist to plan for future growth in the Asia Pacific region including, financial analysis, facilities planning and other commercial issues
* Establish policies and procedures for Asia Pacific financial function that are consistent with Global policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and requirements for financial reporting and disclosure.
* Oversee the planning and completion of the annual audit of the books and records including all tax, governmental or corporate audit requirements (including audits by the internal audit department and external auditors)
* Ensure that all fiscal tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements are completed and filed on an accurate and timely basis
* Monitor changes in tax and accounting legislation and instigate any necessary changes in policies or procedures to ensure continuous compliance with all requirements in the United States, Singapore, China and other Asia Pacific countries
* Oversee the commercial registration of all business entities within the Asia Pacific region and ensure compliance with all local financial and statutory matters

Qualifications :
Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent in accounting required
* Minimum 10 years experience in a financial accounting role, including at least 5 years in a similar management capacity
* Experience working in a multinational environment required, preferably in an IT (Hardware), Electronics, Semiconductor industries
* Strong analytical, communications, organization and leadership skills required
* Experience of working for an overseas multinational organisation
* Experience of supporting and developing a pan Asia Pacific Finance organisation
* Well versed in SOX requirements, and US GAAP
* Good working knowledge of Oracle accounting system
* Some travelling is required
* Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
* Good employment records
* Working location is in Central area
* Working days is 5 from Monday to Friday
