The Challenges
The IT Analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Research Databases. He or she is responsible for analysis, design, development and maintenance of various databases, including documentation and daily user support.
Job Description
- Maintain and support existing report and query applications running over clinical and research database systems.
-Perform the requirements analysis, prepare specifications and proposals.
-Analyse requests for enhancement and documentation.
-Involved in the entire SDLC of the projects which includes software development, rollout, testing and product evaluation.
-Provide user training as and when needed.
-Conduct system testing and responsible for bug fixes found in system.

Qualifications :
Job Requirements
-Posses at least minimum Diploma, Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Equivalent.
-Have at least 1 year experience in developing healthcare/medical/clinical information projects.
-Able to develop with Java technologies: Core Java, Swing, Servlet, JSP, etc.
-Knowledge of Net technologies: VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, Ado.Net.
-Experience in at least 2 ASP. Net projects advantageous.
-Strong technical knowledge in 3 or more of the following skills sets: C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, Crystal Reports,
Java Scripts, XML, HTML, SQL Server or Oracle database data extraction and manipulation.
-Able to develop windows clients, ASP.Net web pages, remote components and web services, using Microsoft C#, Moonlight, Silverlight platforms.
-Knowledge of OOAD and Database design would be advantageous.
-Passion for learning new and related technologies and a desire to constantly improve existing application system.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
