Job description :
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage EDI processes and resources to achieve effectiveness and efficiency
• Supervise outsourced teams both onsite and offshore
• Responsible for mentoring, hiring and building a strong team
• Managing resources and create project plans
• Prepare status reports and monitor progress on a daily basis, including resource contention between ongoing development projects and urgent defects reported in production, between liner and logistics resources
• Hold weekly project review meetings with cross-functional teams; work with users/BI to establish priorities and time line
• Follow-up on all key projects and execute according to the plan agreed
• Responsible for all aspects of running EDI activities and supporting business activities
• Continue to improve EDI processes
• Maximize the adoption of automation – KPI tool
• Identify opportunities to streamline the EDI process and create more KPI and monitoring tools
• Managing and tracking of work request to maximize resources utilization and customer satisfaction

Qualifications :
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in IT
• 10 years in the transportation industry, information technology, or systems engineering
• 5 years project management
• In depth business analysis, external system design and data integration experience
• In depth knowledge of key translator and data communication methods e.g. Gentran, Mercator, Cyclone, FTP, SFTP, AS1, AS2, AS3
• EDI - X12/EDIFACT EDI transaction
• In depth knowledge of key logistics applications
• In depth knowledge of both mainframe and distributed environments
